|The California Automobile Museum CruiseFest on Fulton Avenue will take place
this year on Saturday, October 5 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This annual local
event in Sacramento draws hundreds of cars from all over the region. Along
with cruising up and down Fulton Avenue, there will be food trucks, live music,
entertainment, a beer tent, and more. But the biggest attraction will be all of
the fantastic antique, classic, custom, muscle, hot rod, trucks, sports cars and
specialty vehicles that will cruise on and park along Fulton Avenue. The big
news this year is the Museum is creating a "Car Club Corral" where
preregistered car club members will have designated parking in the Tognotti's
parking lot, which will have its own live music, and food and beer vendors. Plus,
the car club that brings out the most cars will win a free year of Car Club
Membership at the museum. But we need at least 10 cars from our club
preregistered for this event to get a spot in the club corral.
The Museum is offering discounted pricing for cars that preregister for this
event. The cost is $25 per car for car club members. For an additional $15 (per
car), you can get the VIP Package which includes a 2019 CruiseFest t-shirt, a
VIP bag, and one free drink ticket.
FIRST - please register at www.calautomuseum.org/cruisefest
Once on that web page, just scroll down towards the bottom of the page to
the “Car Club Member” section and click on the “Select Registration Class” link
to begin the registration process. The Museum will send an email confirmation
that you are registered for this event. For club be sure to type in
Sacramento Area Miata Owners Association.
SECOND - please send an RSVP via the link below after you register for this
event so we can track how many are in our group, in an effort to get our own
Miata club corral at Tognotti’s. Once again, we need a minimum of 10
Miatas to qualify.
We will meet at 2:15 PM at the northwest corner of the Home Depot parking
lot located at 2000 Howe Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825 (corner of Howe Ave &
Cottage Way) and leave around 2:45 PM to drive to the event as a group.
Please direct any other questions or concerns to Rod at the phone or email
